Even a short wander through the meandering streets and alleyways of Tribeca, one can easily conjure up images of an industrial era, ripe with warehouses, mid-century distribution centers, and logistical arteries making this area directly accessible to Brooklyn and New Jersey. Following Soho’s own residential revolution, TriBeCa saw an influx of artist conversions from industrial workrooms to lofty spaces with high ceilings and oversized windows. Rarely referred to by its unabbreviated name, Triangle Below Canal Street, this area, which basks in the glorious glow of One World Trade Center, is famously home to the TriBeCa Film Festival and an influx of iconic pop-culture residents.
