If skyscrapers, Times Square, Broadway Theater, Rockefeller Center, and bustling city blocks are still the de facto image of New York City, then Midtown is the true realization of that look and feel. Spanning across both East and West sides, this area is perhaps less regarded for its residential chops than for being the center of the Commercial universe. Despite the enormous capacity for commerce, Midtown also lays claim to some remarkable residential neighborhoods, such as Hell's Kitchen, Turtle Bay, and Murray Hill.
